Audirvana crashes a few seconds (not the same few seconds) into the first track.
  • Of this album specifically? Or is the same issue you had with AyreWave?
  • That album specifically. Nothing to do with AW probs.

They're both beta software and aren't yet ready for the mainstream.
  • Enrico Rava - New York Days
  • Steely Dan - Gaucho (before bed last night), trying to get more into the 24 bit thing.

This morning - Best of Paul Simon, played to distorting levels by the children in the conservatory. They are dancing like lunatics to 'call me Al', and I am grinning like a Cheshire cat. Who needs High Fidelity?

    Ah - a guitist.

Do you know how to get a guitist to turn himself down? Put the music in front of him!

Sounds interesting.  I went to the linky.  It would be useful to get all files in one lump rather than one at a time.

Funny you should say that, but I had a Firefox plug-in when I was on Windoze that did that very thing, and I'm trying to remember what it was.
  • That'd be v.nifty!
  • Frank Turner - The First Three Years
  • ...It also takes 11 of them to change a lightbulb you know.

1 to turn the bulb, the other 10 to stand there saying:...."Yeah, we can do that"...
  • I'd better start the drummer jokes soon...
  • You can guess what a vacuum cleaner & an electric guitar have in common?
They both suck when plugged in...

  • Excellent Dave, cheers!
  • Bob Dylan - Oh Mercy
  • What do you call someone who hangs around with musicians?
    A drummer

How can you tell when a drummer's at the door?
He doesn't know when to come in

How do you get a drummer off your porch?
    Pay him for the pizza

How is a drum solo like a sneeze?
You can tell it's coming, but you can't do anything about it
