Dunno about taste! lol, but indeed we're two peas in spaced out jazz pea pod!

I just like music tbh anyway one of my favourite clips of all time!

Cant figure out how you embed videos.  EDIT: it just did it by itself! lol
  • A fantastic band! As I was saying in another thread, Joey Baron is possibly the best drummer of his generation, and Greg Cohen isn't much of a slouch on bass.

I also think that the Masada quartet was the last setting where John Zorn consistently played the sax, rather than just overblowing it to the point of screeching. But who am I to argue against Zorn's ideas?

Zorn's output is off the scale! it's hard to know where to start, i think much of it was and still is on spotify, i like his label Tzadik, there is always some great experimental music on it
  • I'm trying to pick my way through the Masada-related material and avoid the nastier 'classical' and thrash stuff.
  • I like a lot of it even the weirder stuff like Hermetic Theatre, much of the Tzadik stuff has gone from spotify now.
  • I don't know the Hermetic Theatre. What's that about?

    Its
Zorn messing around with computer and ambient noises, its a very good way of  destroying speakers too!
