My Raspberry Pi 2 is deaded :-(

Anyone want a overheating RPi2? You'll need some thick oven gloves to pick it up after it's been on a short while.

It's been shutting down after shorter and shorter intervals until it now doesn't get to playing music at all.

Anyone else had this experience?

But my new RPi3 is behaving faultlessly - even in the furnace-like temperatures next to my iMac in my office.

Coming to think of it, I haven't rebooted the RPi3 downstairs for a couple of months (give or take). Swapping out my old and tetchy router earlier this year has given the whole system a feeling of greater solidity and reliability.
