Cooking again...

My TOCA SECA blew a fuse a few weeks back.
Pleasingly, I have an ID25 in my wardbrobe (better than Narnia) that was able to step in.
It took me a while to find the time and buy a multimeter to check (with remote support from Quickie - thanks Paul) which one.
Once identified, Quickie sent me a couple of replacements (thanks Paul) and everything is working beautifully.
Now, the ID25 is a great amp but having the TOCA back in place again is heavenly. So smooth and complete. Amazing amp.
The ID25 is returning to the shoes and fallen coat-hangers. It deserves better, but I don't want to part with such a capable stand-in.

  • You old smoothy.

It's great that there's a support system in place for these amps - Paul and Colin.

As an aside, I got an e-mail from our resident mad scientist just a few minutes ago. Must give him a ring.
  • RMS seems happy now he has his lab/workshop up and running.

Explosions from London aren't likely to be terrorism, I fear :-)

  • This is good news. :-)
    (On both counts.)
