    Timing Error correction, or phase control.

    What I get out of it is having to spend £25k+ to be locked into a proprietary standard.

    I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole!

    Genuine questions:
    1. How does this differ from good ol' fashioned "room correction"?
    2. What are the benefits of moving the room correction process into the speaker cabinet?

    Good quality actives have many options on the rear for room correction rather than tone control, I've had some work very effectively in my living room after aome tweaking.

    I found moving was cheaper, either to a small house were the Hi-fi can't fit or a mansion like Dave's.   =)) >:)
